Eric and Jerry, 55 years ago today! Here is a photo of Eric Clapton with Jerry Garcia together… a rare toothy smile by both. If you look closely you’ll notice that Jerry is wearing a Pigpen t-shirt, designed by Stanley Mouse. The photograph was taken by Jim Marshall at his 1825 Union Street, San Francisco apartment on March 10, 1968. On that day Cream’s live version of “Crossroads” was recorded at the Fillmore Auditorium, in San Francisco. Enjoy with a toothy smile!
